Boeing to take on Airbus with (1000 seat) giant 797 Wing plane

Boeing 797 is preparing a 1000 passenger jet that could reshape the Air travel industry for the next 100 years.The radical Blended Wing design has been developed by Boeing in cooperation with the NASA Langley Research Centre.The mammoth plane will have a wing span of 265 feet compared to the 747's 211 feet, and is designed to fit within the newly created terminals used for the 555 seat Airbus A380, which is 262 feet wide.
B797客機的出現將使客機形式完全改觀。它的“機體和機翼混爲一體”的結構是波音公司與【美國國家航空暨太空總署NASA蘭利研究中心】共同研製的。797的翼展 265英尺， 747是 211英尺，而目前最大客機A380是 262英尺，但後者載客僅555人。而797的設計完全可以適用于A380起降的機場。
